Newburyport Flat | Downtown Living | King Bed

The rental was very nice. the town's attitude towards tourism and parking was not. Positive: Location was excellent Negative: The parking policy of the city of Newburyport for people that are willing to go stay there and spend their money it's pretty poorly done. I did a quick search and found the tourism brings about 22 million a year to Newburyport. One would hope that that situation would be made easier not more difficult. I wound up spending $48 a day to park about a quarter mile away from where we were staying, even though there was a lot which I never saw full about 50 or 60 yards from the door. The titicum street parking lot. AKA Intermodal parking. During the day the lights are all on inside that facility but at night Larry a light to be seen except for strobe light effects from the staircase. Very creepy like being in a horror show.

Clean and neat apartment in the middle of town. Easy walking wherever you want to go.

Our stay in Newburyport was wonderful, despite the heat and closed beaches. Collin's flat was clean, furnished nicely with a comfortable bed, and a kitchen ideal for cooking.We knew beforehand that it would be noisy very early in the morning and did bring earplugs to block out the Juicery setup each morning and the daily garbage or recycling pick ups. Newburyport is full of great restaurants, shops and wonderful places to walk and sight-see. I recommend Collin's flat which is located above shops in a very vibrant and pretty town.

Great location, so-so experience. Positive: Location, location, location. Negative: It was extremely noisy with the upstairs rental, the bed was very squeaky ( I couldn’t move my toe without it squeaking), and unfortunately led to both my husband and me barely sleeping. While I was lying awake there was a very loud gnawing noise coming from behind the baseboard and that freaked me out, I let the host know so hopefully it will be gone for the next guests. We decided to leave early, which was fine, but certainly would have been nice to get our moneys worth.
